ResultadoHR 0.69 (95 % CI 0.46–1.03; p=0.069) — the prespecified 40 % relative risk reduction was not met. Restricted to the period after dose stabilisation, HR 0.51 (95 % CI 0.28–0.89; p=0.019).

Discusión y crítica
It formally missed its primary endpoint and the supportive analyses are post hoc, so the effect is fragile. It is nonetheless the largest randomised evidence for fludrocortisone and underpins its class-IIb place in young patients with low blood pressure.
