In 844 adults with HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis, a single 10 mg/kg dose of liposomal amphotericin B plus 14 days of flucytosine and fluconazole was non-inferior to 7 days of amphotericin B deoxycholate plus flucytosine for 10-week all-cause mortality.
