Multicentre, multinational, open-label, non-inferiority RCT, 1:1 after clinical stabilisation (clinical, laboratory and TOE criteria), 6-month primary follow-up; Denmark and Sweden plus one US site
Desenlace
Composite of all-cause mortality, unplanned cardiac surgery, relapse of bacteraemia or embolisation within 6 months of randomisation (registry also lists days alive without antibiotic treatment at 6 months as a co-primary)
