2018 ESC/EACTS Guidelines on myocardial revascularisation
The joint ESC/EACTS revascularisation guideline is the procedural companion to the syndrome guidelines: it sets out when to revascularise, how to choose between PCI and surgery in multivessel and left main disease, and how to protect the result with antiplatelet therapy. Only trials published before its 2018 cut-off appear in the sections below — later evidence such as ISCHEMIA, COMPLETE and FAME 3 lives on the chronic and acute coronary syndrome pages.
This guideline cites 15 of the 199 landmark trials in our Cardiology register.
