The register's own text is published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International, CC BY-SA 4.0. The English text on this page is the authoritative one; the other languages are a convenience.

What the licence covers

It covers what this project wrote: the PICO sentences, the summaries of design, endpoint and result, the critiques, the guideline pages and the grouping of trials under them, and the taxonomy of specialties, categories and topics.

You may copy, redistribute, translate and build on that material, including commercially, on two conditions. Name Trialsgram as the source and link to it, and release what you build under the same licence.

What it does not cover

The podcast archive. Those pages summarise other people's shows and are published with their hosts' permission. The rights to that material stay with the shows, and nothing in the podcast area is offered under this licence.

Material quoted from elsewhere. Trial and guideline titles, citations, DOIs and quoted wording belong to their publishers. A fact has no owner; the sentence that states it here does.

The name and the wordmark. “Trialsgram” is not licensed. Reuse the content, not the identity.

What a licence is not

It is not a warranty. The register summarises published trials as carefully as it can and names the reviewer who confirmed each entry, and it is still a summary. A clinical decision belongs with the primary publication.

A copy is a copy of one moment. Entries are corrected here and a mirror is not, so anyone redistributing the register should say when they took it.

The data

The whole register is one machine-readable file at /data.js, under the same licence and the same exclusions.
